Melissa has been proudly serving with Alaska Juvenile Justice as a Social Services Program Coordinator since January 2019 as a Policy and Quality Assurance team member. She oversees Performance-based Standards (PbS) across all Alaska sites, ensuring they maintain a strong commitment to improving the lives of the youth we serve. She aims to ensure that these programs are effective, impactful and aligned with best practices to provide the highest level of support and guidance to young people in their care.
Melissa shares, “I am proud and excited to serve on the CIYJ Board of Directors and look forward to contributing to efforts that improve the lives of youth across the nation. Every day, I am driven by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change and help create a safer, more supportive environment for Alaska’s youth.”
